Barefoot Expands to Newfoundland and Labrador with New Associate

I am delighted to announce that Linda Carter has joined the Barefoot Facilitation Inc. team as a part-time Associate Consultant, based out of St. John’s.

Linda will help to expand our facilitation, training and consulting services across Newfoundland and Labrador.  She will work with clients to co-create facilitation and training solutions that are relaxed and informal while being results oriented and engaging.

Linda’s strength is in building relationships. She believes in team work – bringing people together and working through a process to find solutions. Linda’s facilitation and leadership skills support this approach. Early in her career she was trained as a facilitator and has used these skills in all aspects of her work life.

Linda has 30 years experience working in the health and community services system. Her broad experiences range from Public Health Nursing practice to leading the development of provincial policy frameworks, policies and programs with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Linda is a graduate of Memorial University School of Nursing and over the years she has continued to learn and grow through policy development opportunities and leadership and management certifications.

During her career, her area of interest has been in the field of public health, particularly related to health promotion, healthy living, healthy public policy, community action and engagement, healthy communities, and chronic disease and injury prevention. She has had the opportunity to work on provincial, Atlantic and National committees and projects.

You can reach Linda at or by voicemail via 902-493-3059.

Please join me in welcoming Linda to the Barefoot team!
